Hey All, First off, I tried searching the forums for an answer to this and did not see anything relevant to my question. If I managed to overlook it, I am sorry and would appreciate a link to the thread. I am using FCPX 10.1.2 and am finalizing a video for a client. I need to create a gold master DVD for them to send off to the replicator, and I am hitting a wall creating the DVD title menu. The built in tools are pretty rubbish if you want to do anything custom and I haven't been able to find a good solution. I basically need to be able to create a DVD with a customized menu including chapters. I need to be able to create my own background image and import it as well.

I seem to be finding software that lets me do one of those things but not both. Is it possible to import an.img file to a program so the chapter markers are preserved or will I need to re-specify those and import an.mov file instead? It is THE easiest and fastest way to make an all out customised DVD at max quality, without the - IMHO - way too convoluted, overblown feature set (for what one needs 99.9% of the time) and handling of apps such as DVD SP or Encore.

I'm just starting in FCP X coming from Sony Vegas. Vegas came with DVDA and was easy to make customized menus with chapter stops etc. I even use Encore CS6 for more upscale DVDs and BDs. FCP X has nothing in the way of DVD creation that I would give to a client.
